Although the 20th and 21st centuries saw a wide-range of musical styles, one commonality is the idea that the composer is allowed to choose his or her own style, and is not bound by convention. There are many musical styles and many artistic movements represented in the music we have studied. Choose one style and its representative piece (from the works we have studied) and in 2-4 paragraphs discuss how the music reflects this style and/or movement. If applicable, and if you’d like to, post an image of, or link to, a piece of art associated with this style.
