Introduction
Rectification is the most widely employed application of power electronics appliances. This refers to the process of altering an AC voltage or current source to dc voltage as well as current. Rectifiers particularly refer to power electronic transformers where the electrical energy moves from the AC end to the DC end. In most instances, the same converter circuit might carry electrical energy from the DC through to the AC side where they are referred as inverters (Morris, P. R, 18). This is a lab report describes three Phase Half Wave and Full Wave controlled rectifier. In addition, the report demonstrates and describes features such as design and functioning of three Phase (Half Wave) and Three Phase (Full Wave). In the end, the report provides recommendations.
